The Package Evaluation

The Package:

The intro is very well made, I really like the way that Douglas walks past the title, as we spent around a hour and a half on double framing the title into the wall i liked that it turned out quite well.

There is a lot of continuity errors, when Douglas passes on the package to Chance he walks then stops where in the next shot he carries on walking showing a continuity error. There is also a continuity error when Harry runs in and places his arm down onto his leg where as in the next shot where he is staring down on Chance his arm is clearly on the back of the bench.

The cigarette itself is a continuity error and I personally thing that we should have thought it through as when Chance passes “the package” to my hands he has a nearly full cigarette but in the next shot he has finished the cigarette and is putting it out on the back of the bench.

I personally thought that we should have added a shot of us opening the chocolate because the chocolate is a continuity error. There should be a few more shots added to the beginning where Chance gets on the bus where we should have added a close up on the Start button when the bike starts up and then when he turns the bike off.

There could be a lot of improvements on the editing side of the short film to make more continuity and the music should have been in beat with the running and there should have been drums added in where Harry is running in between shots. That would have added more action in the short film.
